PRP & PRF Hair Restoration Bournemouth
What is PRP & PRF Hair Restoration?
Hair loss and thinning hair can affect both men and women at any age. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) are regenerative treatments that use your body’s own blood to support the natural repair processes within the scalp.
A small sample of blood is taken before being placed into a specialised centrifuge. This separates and concentrates the platelets, growth factors and regenerative cells that are naturally present within your blood. These are then carefully introduced into areas of thinning hair using mesotherapy injections, microneedling or a combination of both techniques.
PRP contains a high concentration of platelets suspended in plasma, while PRF is processed more gently without anticoagulants, creating a fibrin matrix that allows growth factors to be released more gradually over time. Both treatments aim to support healthier hair follicles, improve scalp health and encourage stronger, thicker-looking hair.
PRP and PRF have become particularly popular alongside hair transplantation. Many leading hair transplant clinics, including those in Turkey, recommend these treatments before and after surgery to help prepare the scalp and support the healing process.
As we naturally age, however, platelet function and the concentration of growth factors gradually decline. For this reason, Mary Anne Beauty & Aesthetics also offers advanced regenerative treatments including Derma 2.0 Hair and Exosome Therapy, allowing every treatment plan to be tailored to the individual and their stage of hair loss.
Every client begins with a detailed consultation to assess their scalp condition, pattern of hair loss and suitability for treatment before a personalised treatment programme is recommended.

Ready to Begin Your Hair Restoration Journey?
Every hair restoration journey begins with a comprehensive consultation to assess your pattern of hair loss, scalp health and suitability for treatment. During your appointment, we will discuss your concerns, explain the treatment options available and recommend the approach most appropriate for your individual needs.
At Mary Anne Beauty & Aesthetics, we believe every treatment should be tailored to the individual. Whilst PRP and PRF remain popular regenerative treatments, particularly before and after hair transplantation, we also recognise that platelet function and growth factor activity naturally decline as we age. For this reason, we also offer advanced regenerative treatments, including Derma 2.0 Hair and Exosome Therapy, either as stand-alone treatments or alongside PRP and PRF where appropriate.
Our aim is not simply to offer one treatment, but to provide the most effective solution for your stage of hair loss, lifestyle and long-term goals. By combining clinical knowledge with the latest regenerative technologies, we can create a personalised treatment plan designed to achieve the best possible outcome.
Whether you are noticing the early signs of thinning hair, experiencing more advanced hair loss, or looking to support a recent hair transplant, we are here to guide you through every step of your hair restoration journey with honest advice and evidence-based treatment options.

Choosing the Right Hair Restoration Treatment
At Mary Anne Beauty & Aesthetics, we believe that successful hair restoration starts with choosing the treatment that is most appropriate for the individual. Hair loss affects everyone differently, which is why we tailor every treatment plan to your stage of hair loss, scalp condition, age and long-term goals.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) remain well-established regenerative treatments and continue to play an important role in supporting hair restoration, particularly before and after hair transplantation. By concentrating your body’s own platelets and growth factors, these treatments help stimulate the scalp’s natural healing response and support healthier hair follicles.
However, as we naturally age, platelet function and the concentration of growth factors gradually decline. Whilst PRP and PRF can still be highly beneficial, they may not always provide the same level of regenerative stimulation for every individual.
For this reason, we also offer advanced regenerative treatments including Derma 2.0 Hair and Exosome Therapy. Unlike PRP and PRF, these treatments deliver carefully selected peptides, amino acids, vitamins and regenerative signalling molecules directly to the scalp, helping to create an environment that supports healthier follicles and stronger, thicker-looking hair.
Rather than recommending the same treatment for every client, we assess your individual needs during your consultation. Depending on your hair loss pattern and treatment goals, we may recommend PRP, PRF, Derma 2.0 Hair, Exosome Therapy, or a combination of these treatments to achieve the best possible outcome.
Our philosophy is simple – to provide honest advice, evidence-based regenerative treatments and a personalised treatment plan that gives you the greatest opportunity to restore healthier, stronger-looking hair.
